229 Safer Living Access (229 SLA) is a grassroots harm reduction group in Dougherty County, GA. Every Monday we distribute harm reduction supplies, offer on-site wound care and rapid HIV testing and immediate linkage to care. We also offer safer use and overdose response trainings and advocate for the well-being, freedom, and autonomy of populations criminalized by prohibition and the War On Drugs—in Dougherty County, across Georgia and beyond.
